Job description

My client develops renewable energy projects across the UK, particularly specialising in wind, biomass and tidal power projects. They are planning to develop new onshore wind projects in the UK this year, and are looking for a project developer to work out of their office in Manchester to deliver these projects for them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site selection and land acquisitions for the development of onshore wind projects across the UK

• Arranging EIAs (environmental impact assessments)

• Negotiating project finance with commercial lenders and other financial institutions

• Negotiating PPA\'s (Power Purchase Agreements)

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of managing the planning process of wind projects

• Procurement skills

• Strong financial background

• Able to be based in the office in Manchester but visit sites occasionally
