Job description

My client is a leading renewable energy consultancy in Europe and are advising on a number of medium and large-scale onshore wind farms in Central and Eastern Europe. As a result of this, they are looking for a Project Manager who has industry experience of managing European onshore wind farm projects (from planning through construction) and can advise different types of clients (project developers, investors etc) on development of such projects. This is a very exciting role which could involve extensive travel and also could be based on a work-from-home employment model.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on issues such as permitting, policy, planning and EPC contracts
• Travelling to various sites in Bulgaria and elsewhere in the CEE region to produce reports based on your opinions to form part of the advisory service provided
• Actively prospecting potential clients for new business; maintaining good relationships with existing clients in order to secure repeat business
• Working autonomously and reporting to the Head of Wind Projects for Europe

Skills and qualifications needed:

• At least 5 years\' experience working as a Senior Project Manaager in the development of onshore wind farms in Europe
• Fluent Bulgarian would be a very strong advantage; general experience of wind farm development specifically in the CEE is mandatory
• Strong client facing skills with a track record in business development and negotiation would be an advantage
• MSC in engineering or a related discipline is a must
