Job description

Solar Project Sales, New York/East Coast, $100k + commission + benefits

 

My client is a leading supplier of complete turnkey solar power systems to residential, commercial and municipal clients across North America. Owing to a surge in demand, they are looking for a solar salesperson, with a proven track record selling solar systems, to join their New York office and cover New York and the surrounding region.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Selling solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, CSP and thin film solutions to residential, commercial and municipalities/hospitals/schools
  • Working closely with the Design and Installation team to ensure the best turnkey solution is provided for each client taking into account cost and efficiency
  • Hitting personal sales targets, maintaining the existing client base and converting leads into new clients, winning new business successfully
  • Brand development, in conjunction with the Marketing and Business Development team

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Minimum 5+ years\' sales experience, of which at least 2 years should be in selling turnkey solar systems. Please do not apply if you do not have solar sales experience as our client is not willing to consider people looking for a change in industry.
  • Excellent track record in hitting sales targets
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Team player attitude
  • Able to live/work in New York and travel frequently
  • Strong knowledge of the latest developments in solar technology, particularly solar PV
