Job description

My client develops solar, wind and bio-energy projects in nine different countries worldwide. As part of their expansion for 2010, they are looking for a new project developer to work from their office in Verona, but to cover the entire Italian market. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary and an excellent benefits and bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing suitable sites across Italy for the construction of solar PV plants

• Negotiating contracts for site acquisitions

• Building relationships with politicians and local authorities

• Ensuring that environmental impact assessments are carried out

Candidate Requirements:

• 2 years of project development experience within Italy, either from a solar PV or wind energy background

• A degree in a finance related subject

• Fluent Italian and English speaker

• Able to travel across Italy regularly
