Job description

My client is a well-known developer of solar PV power plants across Europe. They have secured permits to begin the construction of new plants in Italy later this year, and are looking for an experienced project manager to lead the construction of these plants. This is a senior position for an experienced project manager looking to take steps into or build on a career within renewable energy, with a competitive salary and an excellent benefits structure available for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the construction of large scale solar plants

• Coordinating the various civil, electrical and structural engineers working on plant construction

• Managing the project budget and ensuring costs are controlled

• Ensuring that each project is completed on time

• Providing regular status updates on the projects to investors and senior management

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience working on the construction of large scale turnkey projects, for example, power plants, hotels, hospitals or shopping malls

• At least 2 years of project management experience

• Experience of cash-flow and cost calculations

• Fluent English and Italian speaker
