Job description

My client is one of the world\'s largest manufacturers of photovoltaic solar products, with a product line including wafers, cells, modules, ingots, and full solar power systems. They are currently active in seven different countries across North America, Asia and Europe, and their next stage is to move into the French market by hiring a regional sales manager to cover the south of France, with the candidate preferably being based in the Nice or Lyon area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originating contact, making sales pitches and closing deals

• Business development responsibilities to establish the brand name within the French market

• Managing post-sales relationships with clients to ensure long term business deals

• Providing regular market reports on the French PV market for senior management

• As time goes on and business within France increases, the sales manager will be able to train and manage a sales team

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the French solar PV market

• Either 3-5 years of total sales experience or a strong engineering background from the solar PV space

• Fluency in French and English

• Able to travel regularly around France and occasionally internationally
