Job description

Renewable Energy Project Director, London, £75k+

My client is a leading environmental finance and renewable energy firm, and are looking for an experienced candidate with knowledge of Solar, Wind and Hydro projects to come on board and expand their client base. The successful candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of the origination of new projects and should have a strong understanding of issues surrounding the financing of renewable energy in Europe. This role is for a director with a view to being partner within 12-18 months.

Responsibilities:-

• Indentifying and acquire corporate clients within the renewable sector
• Assessing the feasibility of projects by studying cash-flow models and other financial tools; working closely with the Head of Project Development in order to bring on board the projects with most potential
• Hiring, managing and training junior members of the team

Requirements:-

• 2-3 years experience in the renewable sector
• Excellent understanding of project finance - a background in renewable energy project finance could be of interest
• MUST be fluent in English
