Job description

My client is a leading global engineering and environmental consulting firm. They have offices across Asia, Europe and the US and are very active in all areas of the environmental consulting space. Owing to a surge in business in China, they need to hire a consultant in Beijing.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• New business development with a focus on the land contamination, soil and groundwater remediation business
• Presenting to clients and discussing options with them
• Coming up with creative solutions to solve clients\' needs in the land contamination, soil and groundwater remediation space
• Frequent travel to visit sites
• Supervising junior members of staff

Skills and qualifications required:

• Educated to minimum MSC level in civil or environmental engineering
• At least 5 years\' prior experience in the land contamination, soil and groundwater remediation consulting space
• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese/English (spoken and written)
• Currently based in China, or able to relocate to China quickly
• Flexible for frequent travel
• Autonomous and with a proven track record in winning new consulting projects
